What is Speed Mentoring?
Involves quick discussions between Mentors and Mentees on a pre-planned topic which may be of concern for the Mentee. The Mentee can have a series of conversations with a set of mentors thereby attaining a comprehensive learning on complex topics.

Hello! My name is Fathima and I’m a year 13 student studying A level Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. I aspire to be an Environmental Biotechnologist. In my free time I enjoy playing roblox, reading, basketball or hanging out with my friends and volunteering. I also enjoy cooking and baking a lot.
Janhvi Duggal
Hello! I am Janhvi Duggal and have been studying in GFS for 5 years now. Currently in Y13, I am studying Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. As you would have realised I‘m going for the science field and hence I plan to do my bachelor’s in Environmental Science here in the UAE. I might seem like a science nerd but I do thankfully have some background knowledge in Arts and Eco/Business because of my IGCSE subjects so I’m here to clear any doubts regarding that as well! Apart from academics, my hobbies are dancing, watching TV, listening to music, and playing sports both indoor and outdoor.

Hi! I’m Kavya and am currently studying A Level Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Further Mathematics. I wish to pursue a career in Computer Science and specialise in AI. In my free time, I like to code, read books and listen to music. Kripa Susan Raji
Hi! I‘m Kripa and it’s my 7th year at GFS. Currently, I’m studying A-level biology, chemistry, and physics and also completed A-level math last year. For my IGCSEs, I did Combined science, Geography, French, Computer science, English, Math, Further Maths and Global Perspectives. I enjoy sketching, volunteering, baking and cycling with my family. I also love reading mystery-based-fiction (favourite book: A Thousand Splendid Suns). In the future, I aspire to pursue biomedical engineering/ biotechnology and aim to work closely with the medical field.
Meeval Soorej
Hey there, I’m Meeval Soorej. Here’s a little about me, I’m currently completing my A levels in Business, Psychology and Maths and would love to pursue psychology later on. I’m interested in sport and exercise psychology as well as forensic, still deciding on which of those to pursue. I pursued Math, Further Maths, Combined Science (inclusive of all three), Psychology, French, Physical Eduction, English Language, English Literature and Global Perspectives for my iGCSEs. My hobbies and interests include loom knitting, figure skating, baking, music, dance and puzzles. I love maths, I love the aspect of solving problems and especially the satisfaction of getting it correct.
Naisha Rajani
I’m Naisha Rajani and I’ve studied in GFS for 6 years now. I’m in year 12 so I finished my IGCSES last year and I recieved Grade 9s in all my subjects apart from Further Maths in which I received a Grade 8. I did maths, English, physics, psychology, sociology, French, computer science and further maths. For my A Levels, I’ve picked Further Maths, English Literature, Physics and Psychology. I believe in a healthy balance between academics and enriching extracurriculars and this is something I’ve adopted after my IGCSES. I’m involved in several leadership positions both in and outside school as well as the school newspaper and MUN. I’m passionate about creating awareness and resolving the various social issues in the world and the cause I’ve been working towards since I was a child is Eradicating Food Waste. Currently I’ve founded The Beacon Club as an initiative in this cause. After a long day I enjoy doing my skincare routine , listening to Lana del Rey and playing the piano.

Hello, I‘m Pallavi, and I’m so excited for my senior year here at GFS! I love listening to music and reading books, typically related to world history. At GCSE, I took Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Further Maths, English Literature and Language, History and Sociology, and at A-Level I am currently taking Biology, Chemistry and Maths! My dream is to pursue medicine - being a doctor as well as a researcher for the betterment of diagnosis and treatment of patients!
Siddhant Patil
Hi, I’m Siddhant. I am a year 13 student currently pursuing Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science A Levels and have completed my Mathematics A Level as well. I aspire to eventually get into the rapidly expanding field of Computer Science and become a full-time software engineer. When I do have free time, I partake in various hobbies and activities to keep my enthusiastic mind occupied. These include game development, coding, playing football and cricket, swimming, sketching and baking. I thoroughly enjoy creative problem solving and creating things from scratch, seeing my imagination come to life. Therefore, along with coding and game developing, I adore cooking and hope to eventually be able to explore an endeavor in that field as well.

Hi, I am Tejas. The subjects I studied in A level are Further Mathematics, Physics , Chemistry, and Computer Science. My aspiration is to become an engineer as I have always wanted to solve problems. In my free time I like to play sports and read books. My favorite sport is football and I used to attend coaching for 2 years. I am an avid reader, my favorite genre in books is non-fiction and my favorite author is Robert Greene.
